Hampton Andrew "Drew" Holcomb, Jr.[1][2][3] (born May 13, xxxx)[4] is an American singer and songwriter who grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and now calls East Nashville, Tennessee home. Holcomb's wife, Ellie, performs alongside him in the band, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. Holcomb earned a considerable following after his xxxx album, Washed in Blue, was released and had multiple TV placements on Lifetime's Army Wives[5] and Showtimes's United States of Tara,[6] and A&E's The Cleaner. Holcomb and his band, The Neighbors, joined by his wife and singing and songwriting partner Ellie Bannister Holcomb, daughter of Brown Bannister, then recorded xxxx's Passenger Seat. Holcomb has gained most of his following with a heavy touring schedule, headlining regionally in the Southeast, and opening for national acts such as Susan Tedeschi, Ryan Adams,[7] Los Lobos, Jon McLaughlin, The Avett Brothers, Robert Earl Keen,[8] Marc Broussard, Dave Barnes, and Matt Hires. Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors released their fourth album Good Light on February 19, xxxx on Good Time Records. The album features twelve songs, including the popular single "Tennessee", and was released following Holcomb's 30th birthday and the birth of his first child, daughter Emmylou. The band has set many new tour dates and is scheduled to play at the prestigious music and arts festival "Bonnaroo", held in June xxxx.
