Regional Sales Manager - (Grand Rapids) in Grand Rapids, Michigan For Sale
Kawasaki Motors Corp, headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager based out of the Kawasaki office located in Grand Rapids, MI. This position relates to the lawn and garden industry, not the power sports industry. This key role is a full-time position and eligible for a full benefits package which includes a 401K and pension. The chosen candidate will either currently live or be willing to live in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Relocation will be approved on a case by case basis. Responsibilities: Oversees all aspects of sales operations of defined territory; Helps develop and implement national sales strategies and programs to improve sales and traffic flow to the dealers; Recommends potential improvements to help Kawasaki achieve its strategic objectives to meet retail demand. Ensures the achievement of wholesale sales objectives for all major product categories Sets priorities for planning activities for all areas and functions of District Managers responsibilities. Supports and champions the implementation of all marketing programs; Implements regional, local and key market advertising programs. Develops and fosters strategic business relationships and partnerships with internal and external colleagues, with a strong focus on Kawasaki's relationships with its dealer network. Recruits, trains and maintains a strong field sales force; directs and monitors activities of district managers; Provides appropriate level of guidance and support to subordinate team members; Ensures Company and/or department policies and procedures are followed at all times. Maintains a strong dealer network; promotes positive KMC/dealer relations. Establishes dealer open point lists for establishment and/or upgrading of dealers. Develops sales and/or marketing programs and strategies for consideration. Establishes dealership requirements and standards for new dealers as well as existing dealers. Develops and implements sales training programs.
