Job Description:
Colliers International West Michigan, a leading commercial real estate and property management firm, is looking for an experienced property manager for an on:site position at an exclusive high rise residential project.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Perform and oversee all aspects of residential management
Prepare operating budgets
Develop and implement marketing strategy for the property
Establish and maintain corporate outreach program
Maintaining occupancy goals for the property
Supervision and training of on:site staff
Interface with residents
Routinely communicate with residents to monitor their level of satisfaction
Ensure resident compliance with policies and procedures
Provide monthly reporting to the owners
Conduct new resident orientation
Ensure highest possible standards of building/property maintenance and appearance by conducting regular property inspections
Negotiate service contracts
Assure that appropriate insurance requirements are in place
Maintain property's compliance with all applicable city, state and federal regulations
Oversee repairs, maintenance and unit turn overs
Handle emergency situations
Other duties as assigned
Some evening /weekend hours may be required
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
3:5 years residential property management experience
A demonstrated ability to supervise staff and make necessary management decisions on a timely basis
Superior verbal and written communication skills
High energy and ability to multi:task
Knowledge of Michigan Fair Housing laws
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong analytic , organizational and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Proven crises management skills
Yardi experience a plus
