Tool & Die Makers – Reports to Tool Room Leader – Full time position NOT CONTRACT
Company has openings for Journeyman Tool & Die Makers for their Grand Rapids location on 1st Shift, 2nd Shift (Shift Premium of 0.75 per hour), & 3rd Shift (Shift Premium of $2.50 per hour). The candidate will work with the die maintenance/repair and production teams to follow company designed processes to perform upkeep and maintenance of dies in an exemplary manner according to company policy.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Journeymen’s Card or College based Tool & Die or Technician Diploma/Certificate or Associates Degree in Tooling & Manufacturing
• Experience making, repairing, and troubleshooting dies
• Proven ability to work with progressive or transfer dies
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to provide detailed documentation on tooling issues and component prints
• Possess a high level of self-motivation and problem solving skills
• An excellent work record, including attendance
• Previous experience in a metal-forming manufacturing environment
• Experience leading other Tool & Die Makers
