Ferndale, Michigan brought us this reserved, regal, albeit very serious looking four year old FIV fella in December 0f xxxx. Born in the winter of xxxx, we aren't quite sure how he ended up as a stray at PAAW 7 months prior to his arrival with us here, but since they didn't have a place to house an FIV guy, they asked us for help. It took us a few months, as our facility is always full, but when we were finally able to open our doors to him, Naranja seemed pretty OK with it. See, he was getting a bit bored being mostly by himself, and wanted a bit of feline companionship. But, I bet he didn't bargain for 119 other kitties to call his comrades and neighbors:) So, it took Naranja (or Ron, to those of us who cannot roll our R's) a little bit to fully embrace his new found family, but overall, I am pleased with his progress, and he seems to be happy as well.
