Below is Stella Luna's sad story, as told by her savior, former Harbor humane Society volunteer Lindsey, who first wrote me of her plight in October of xxxx: I do have one last memento from Harbor, a cat named Stella who came into the shelter back in May, after having been abandoned in an apartment for days without food or water. I am the only reason she was put up for adoption, as the very day she came in, I saw her sitting in our E-room. When I asked about her, I was told she was going to be put to sleep at the end of the day as she was 'hissy'. Well, after figuring out that she was basically left to die by her owner, I realized she had every right to be pissed off. So, I made it my mission to spend a little time with her, to let her understand that I wasn't going to hurt her, and that not all people are horrible.
